Sonoma, CA, December 11, 2023 – Three Sticks Wines is pleased to announce Jeremy Sedaka as Assistant Winemaker. Sedaka brings over a decade of experience working with premiere wineries. Three Sticks is renowned for crafting estate-only Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that showcase their Grand Cru level vineyards, producing wines of distinction and acclaim.
Reflecting on his new position, Sedaka comments, “I am beyond excited to work with the exceptional fruit of Three Sticks’ coveted vineyards and am honored to work with Ryan Prichard (Director of Winemaking) during an exciting new chapter for the winery.” Three Sticks recently announced that it is moving to 100 percent estate fruit for all of its wines with its Fall release.
Sedaka’s most recent positions were Associate Winemaker for Roth Estate Winery and Assistant Winemaker at Chalk Hill Estate Winery, both part of Foley Family Wines. While at Chalk Hill he also served as Sustainability Coordinator, managing certifications through the California Sustainability Winegrowing Alliance for 16 Foley properties across California. Prior to this time, Sedaka gained experience working with wineries in New Zealand, including Waimea Estates Winery and Vavasour Wines. Sedaka also worked in winemaking at Ram’s Gate Winery and O’Neill Vintners & Distillers prior to receiving his certificate in enology from California State University in Fresno, California. Sedaka also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from California State University, San Diego, California.
Reflecting on his new hire, Prichard comments, “We are fortunate to have Jeremy as part of our team. He brings a sound skill set and has an unparalleled passion for making world-class wines. I look forward to supporting his growth and evolution as a winemaker.”
Three Sticks is also pleased to welcome Sarah Kasai as Senior DTC Sales & Marketing Manager. Prior to this position, Kasai gained first-hand experience with luxury wines at Grieve Family Winery and Double Eagle Wines, a boutique winery in Napa’s Lovall Valley where she honed her customer experience, sales and marketing skills and ultimately served as general manager. Kasai launched her career with Company Fine Wine, a private wine retailer in Napa. Kasai earned an MBA from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelors in Social Sciences from Florida State University. She is also a graduate of the Wine and Beverage Graduate Program at The Culinary Institute of America- Greystone.
Kasai comments, “I am thrilled to join the Three Sticks team. Not only do we produce exceptional wine, but we are at the forefront of the wine industry in all aspects—from the hospitality offerings at the Adobe, to the sustainability practices in the vineyard and cellar. I knew immediately that it was an organization I wanted to be a part of.”
