New York, NY (September 6, 2023) – Skurnik Wines & Spirits, a leading importer and distributor of fine wines and spirits, has announced a new partnership with Beck Family Estates, a family-owned collection of esteemed wineries known for producing high-quality wines including the flagship Graham Beck Méthode Cap Classique collection.
Skurnik Wines & Spirits’ reputation for curating an impressive portfolio of wines from around the world aligns seamlessly with Graham Beck’s commitment to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of their vineyards. This new collaboration launched on September 1 in Skurnik’s East Coast and Midwest markets including NY, RI, PA, OH, KY, and IN.
Graham Beck has become synonymous with exceptional sparkling wines since their first vintages in the early 1990s. Since then, Graham Beck has been celebrated for its award-winning traditional Méthode Cap Classique sparkling wines that capture the essence of South Africa’s diverse terroirs. The estate itself boasts the richest natural limestone deposits in the Western Cape, making it an ideal terroir for sparkling wines. These wines have been enjoyed by Presidents Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama, and include a vintage line in addition to non-vintage offerings.
The partnership represents a shared vision of excellence, innovation, and a profound appreciation for the beauty of finely crafted wines.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with a world-class organization like Skurnik. They are the definitive distributor for family-owned Champagne and sparkling wine houses, and we feel our partnership puts us at the forefront of the sparkling category. Our quality and heritage, combined with their premier sales force, brand stewardship, and market penetration, position us for immediate success. We are thrilled to be part of their illustrious portfolio.” said Antony Beck, Proprietor of Beck Family Estates.
“We have long admired the wines of Graham Beck. The winery has been the industry leader in Methode Cap Classique sparkling wine since its inception in 1991,” said David Skurnik, Executive Vice President of Skurnik Wines & Spirits. “South African wine is on the rise, and we are proud to welcome these excellent value sparkling wines into our portfolio.”
In addition to the Graham Beck wines, Beck Family Estates includes Steenberg in Constantia, South Africa as well as Abbott Claim and Angela Vineyards from Oregon which Skurnik will also be representing.
The official partnership launched September 1, 2023.
