Embrace the Bold, Yet Elegant World of Rhône Valley Wines through Luxury Tastings, Seminars & Dinners

NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 6, 2023 – La Tablée – an immersive, week-long annual festival celebrating the wines of the Rhône Valley – invites oenophiles far and wide to join their table from November 29-December 2 in New York City. La Tablée is produced by world-renowned sommelier Daniel Johnnes and his organization Pressoir, the team behind top French wine festivals La Fête Du Champagne and La Paulée. With the key support of Northern Rhône expert Matthew Conway, La Tablée celebrates and showcases both the Northern and Southern Rhône’s top producers through a program of tastings, seminars, intimate dinners, and collaborations with top chefs.

After years of cultivating their significant network of winegrowers in the region, Johnnes, Conway, and the Pressoir team have personally invited the finest Rhône Valley producers to present at this year’s La Tablée. Wine lovers of all types – from serious collectors to curious novices – can indulge their passion for the bold, yet elegant flavors and generous spirit that are embodied by Rhône wines, through dinners, tastings and seminars that bring together the Northern and Southern regions’ renowned winemakers with celebrated chefs and restaurants for unforgettable experiences.

Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public beginning on Friday, September 22, through the official La Tablée website. In addition, American Express® Card Members can take advantage of early ticket access beginning Tuesday, September 12, with special ticket packages and exclusive experiences, such as a special dinner hosted by  Christophe Bristiel of the renowned Château La Nerthe in Châteauneuf-du-Pape with wines back to the 70’s, on Wednesday, November 29.

For a taste of what’s to come from La Tablée ahead of the weekend’s festivities, Pressoir will present a free virtual seminar via Zoom: The New Faces of the Rhône, on Saturday, November 18, from 2:00pm-3:00pm. Vignerons Julien Cecillon of Northern Rhône and Victor Coulon of Domaine de Beaurenard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape will facilitate a discussion about the young, dynamic new generation of winemakers in the Rhône, the challenges and opportunities in the region, and what the future holds.
