St. Helena, CA, July 24th, 2023 – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut, the latest addition to Valdo’s portfolio, has finally arrived in the US. This Prosecco Superiore is the first of Valdo’s offerings to be launched under their newly forged partnership with C. Mondavi & Family (CMF), one of the world’s most iconic wine family’s. The strategic partnership between these two entities began in 2023 seamlessly blending Valdo’s rich history and unparalleled expertise in crafting sparkling wines with CMF’s deep-rooted commitment to preserving their heritage.

Pierluigi Bolla, the Valdo Chairman, notes “The launch of the new Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut represents our commitment to share top-quality bubbles. It serves as a testament of our dedication to the Valdobbiadene region and our interest in strengthening our brand awareness in the US market as a leading producer of Superiore”.

The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut showcases the exceptional quality and the unwavering passion of the Bolla family, capturing the essence and distinct character of the terroir. The Superiore, DOCG made up of 90% Glera grapes and 10% Chardonnay grapes, is crafted using the Martinotti-Charmat method, undergoing controlled temperature fermentation at 16-18°C. It then ages for 5 months on the lees in an autoclave resulting in a bold straw yellow color with a bouquet rich with bright floral nuances, animated by a fine and long-lasting perlage.

Valdo Spumanti, founded in 1926 and owned by the Bolla family since 1938, has strong ties to the Valdobbiadene Prosecco region. With a focus on excellence and passion, Valdo has been present in the US market since 2008, offering a diverse selection of Prosecco to suit various different occasions.

The launch of the new Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut in the US market signifies a sincere endeavor by the Bolla family to share high-quality bubbles that epitomize excellence with American consumers. It is now available in select retail shops in the U.S. for an SRP of $20
