SONOMA, Calif. (April 12, 2023) — 3 Badge Beverage Corporation, a wine and spirits négociant headquartered out of a historic, refurbished fire station in Sonoma, announced its onsite tasting room will reopen to the public on Saturday, April 15. The announcement accompanies the appointment of Aimee Levindofske, who joins the 3 Badge team as the new Hospitality, Tasting Room and Wine Club Manager.

Named after 3 Badge Beverage’s flagship Sonoma County wine label, the Gehricke Tasting Room will offer flights and tastes from some of Sonoma County’s most sought-after sub-regions, emphasizing small-lot wines made with minimal intervention for the truest representation of each appellation. Just steps from Sonoma Plaza, the charming tasting space accommodates guests at the western half of the firehouse, previously a garage and apparatus bay that once supported the Sonoma Valley Fire & Rescue.

Sonoma-based food trucks Sushi Shoubu and Tacos Don Pepe will be onsite for the April 15 reopening, and the first 100 visitors will receive complimentary desserts. Additionally, a rotating local food truck will be available to tasting room guests on an ongoing basis every Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

“We are delighted to reopen the Gehricke Tasting Room and to welcome Aimee to our team,” said 3 Badge Beverage Corporation president, August Sebastiani. “The historic building which houses our tasting room is a warm and inviting space for friends, neighbors and visitors to relax and enjoy our lively wines in a landmark central location, and we are confident Aimee’s dynamic talents will further elevate and innovate the guest and member experiences.”

Levindofske brings an impressive resume to her role, most recently serving as Tasting Room Manager at Barber Cellars. Throughout her career, Levindofske has held roles at Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce, Kendall-Jackson and was the Senior Graphic Artist at Whole Foods in the California and Illinois markets.

Located at 32 Patten Street, 3 Badge Beverage Corporation acquired the building in June 2015, previously occupied by Sonoma Valley Fire & Rescue from 1948 until 2004. The name 3 Badge was inspired by Sebastiani’s grandfather, who worked at this very building as a volunteer firefighter, and it pays homage to the three service badges he earned while serving his community.

The tasting room is open from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tastings and reservations can be made by contacting info@gehrickewines.com or calling (707) 732-9590. Walk-ins are welcome.
