Wine Scholar Guild Launches WSG Studio 


July 29th – Wine Scholar Guild has released WSG Studio, an extensive hub of live and streaming wine education content. Building on WSG’s experience as a pioneer and leader in the online wine education space, WSG Studio allows students of wine  to curate their own independent learning paths, complementing their course of study, or keep their industry knowledge  fresh.  

WSG Studio content includes up-to-date perspectives on wine history, wine trends and regulations, regions, climate,  soils, viticultural and vinicultural practices, and more. Guest presenters and panelists are experts in their field including  Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, winemakers, renowned wine journalists, among others. 

Programming includes: 

  • WSG Lives – 40+/year live topical events led by leading industry specialists 
  • WSG Replays – a library of over 300 events and discussions available for on-demand viewing • Meeting of the Minds – WSG Academic Advisor Andrew Jefford hosts a panel of key thinkers, educators,  writers, and experts as they debate around current issues in the wine world

WSG Studio’s easy-to-use digital features include:

  • Podcasts: all video content can be downloaded as audio files for podcast listening 
  • WSG Team Favorites: an ever-evolving collection of the top picks from the WSG program directors • Add to Calendar: allowing members to add calendar reminder in their local time zone for upcoming events • Easy Navigation: quickly see what you have already watched and pick up where you left off 

Unrestricted access to WSG Studio is included in WSG membership package which costs $100/year. Advantageous  corporate and group rates are also available.
