July 21st, 2021–OKANAGAN– Taco Vino – A Mexican themed wine, cider & spirits tasting is set to take over the new Kelowna Ford Lincoln dealership on October 23rd. The BC Wine, Cider & Spirits Festival is bringing back an event favorite from 2019, Taco Vino.
Just as the weather will be cooling down, the teams from the BC Wine, Cider & Spirits Festival, Kelowna Ford Lincoln, and El Taquero are going to be heating it back up with this Mexican themed tasting experience!
“We are honoured to team up with BC Wine, Cider & Spirits Festivals again in catering Taco Vino. Event goers can look forward to being immersed in the Mexican Street Style creations delivered everyday at our downtown location as well as off-site catering events by Izzy & his team of Taquero’s” says Israel Camarillo & Marnie Burnett of El Taquero, Tacos & Tequila
The event will feature low-rider cars, Mexican Food from El Taquero and Fresh is Best, Spanish music, the Okanagan Mexican Folklore dancers, samples from up to 40 of BC Wine Fest members, and so much more.
“We are so grateful to be able to start hosting events again, and to come back with Taco Vino is extremely exciting” stated Katherine Bramall of the BC Wine, Cider & Spirits Festival. “This event was extremely well received in its inaugural year (2019), and after a year and a half hiatus our team feels like we/our events will be coming back bigger, and better than ever”.
100 Early Bird event tickets ($90) will go on sale Wednesday July 28th at 8:00 am, with regular priced tickets ($99) scheduled to go on sale August 28th, or when the $90 early bird tickets sell out.
