Piper-Heidsieck and Rare Champagne Join Folio Fine Wine Partners

Iconic Champagne Houses Expand Importer’s Luxury Champagne Offerings

Folio Fine Wine PartnersNapa, CA — Friday November 13, 2020 — National importer and fine wine marketing agency, Folio Fine Wine Partners, today announced the addition of Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck and Rare Champagne to the portfolio, effective today. This appointment follows EPI’s recent investment in Folio, and significantly boosts the importer’s presence in the branded champagne business. 

Damien Lafaurie, President of EPI’s Wine and Champagne Division commented:

A House with a storied history, it was the first champagne to appear in film and has long been associated with celebration, cinema and celebrity. 

An official sponsor of the iconic Cannes Film Festival for more than 20 years, and the official Champagne of the Academy Awards since 2015, a bottle of Piper-Heidsieck is opened around the world every 8 seconds.

The Piper-Heidsieck House is led by chef de cave, Emilien Boutillat, the youngest chef de cave to lead a major House in the region, while the House of Rare Champagne is led by veteran chef de cave, Régis Camus, who has been awarded “Sparkling Winemaker of the Year” eight times by the International Wine Challenge jury since 2000. Considered as the jewel of champagne, Rare Champagne is recognized as the true exception. Every vintage release receives the most prestigious awards.

Wines in the Piper-Heidsieck portfolio include: Brut NV ($45 SRP), Extra Dry ($45 SRP) Sublime ($50 SRP), Rosé Sauvage ($60 SRP) and 2012 Vintage Brut ($80 SRP). Wines in the limited-edition Rare portfolio include the Rare Brut ($180 SRP) and Rare Rosé ($450 SRP).
