Small- and Medium-Sized Wineries Have a New Partner in Alignment Wine Marketing

NAPA, October 7, 2020 – Seasoned wine industry professional Peter Alig has launched Alignment Wine Marketing, Napa Valley’s newest firm devoted to helping small- and medium-sized wineries refine and amplify their marketing strategies in these rapidly evolving times.

Using the five pillars of the Alignment Audit—Brand, Target Market, Strategy, Execution and Metrics—Alig assesses their individual effectiveness and returns a report card to the client outlining in detail their level of alignment alongside an action plan for improvement.

“I’ve seen so many producers of great wine stumble because they don’t have the bandwidth or resources to tackle marketing problems effectively,” says Alig. “They might desire marketing guidance but don’t want to pay high agency fees or sign a retainer. I established Alignment Wine Marketing to offer small- to medium-sized wineries a thorough audit of their marketing strategies and a roadmap for improvement at prices that align with their more modest budgets.”

The Alignment Audit begins with a brief client questionnaire. Once received, Alignment Wine Marketing crafts an immediately actionable strategy tailored to the client’s budget and personnel available to execute the strategy. The Audit’s final component is an optional 6-month re-appraisal, which assesses the implementation of the initial strategy and discusses any needed refinements.

“I’ve devoted my thirteen-year career to nurturing new and established wine and hotel brands with marketing strategies and tactics that have led to demonstrable growth,” adds Alig. “I know what works and what doesn’t, and I look forward to sharing these insights with my clients.”

Alignment Wine Marketing caters to wineries in all fifty states. Its other services include brand design, copywriting for web and email, and helping wineries establish an effective virtual presence.
