Wine by the Bay Miami Launches “Chat with the Winemakers” Social Media Live Sessions

Piaggia BottleWine by the Bay, a retail wine store in Miami that specializes in educational tastings and cellar management, announces its “Chat with the Winemakers” series. Each Thursday, Stefano Campanini, a Vinitaly certified Italian Wine Ambassador will host an Instagram Live chat with a wine industry guest.

The first Instagram Live will take place on Thursday, April 2nd at 5:00 p.m. EST with featured guest Silvia Vanucci, owner of Piaggia Carmignano. The Piaggia farm is situated in the commune of Poggio a Caiano, in the province of Prato, about 14 kilometres west of Florence. Carmignano Riserva ’16 by Piaggia was named the 2020 Red of the Year by the prestigious Gambero Rosso.

“In light of Miami’s shelter in place order, we continue to offer wine delivery service and have replaced onsite events with virtual ones,” remarked Campanini. “I felt that by having informal conversations with winemaking friends abroad, we could continue to share our passion for wine, but still feel connected to the world and learn something new.”

For information about future virtual events, visit www.winebtb.com or follow on social media @WinebytheBay.
