(September 19, 2019, New York, NY) – Today, Breakthru Beverage Group announced key appointments to its growing supplier business development team with Adam Pizer and John Sladek assuming roles of Vice President, Supplier Business Development dedicated to the wine category reporting to Executive Vice President, Supplier Development Kevin Roberts.

At its core, Breakthru’s supplier business development team are brand builders, responsible for curating the company’s diverse portfolio of iconic, luxury, specialty, emerging and artisanal beverage brands that meet the needs of today’s evolving consumer. Breakthru prides itself on its strong relationships rooted in integrity, trust and transparency and regularly seeks out new and unique strategies to deliver sustainable and consistent growth for some of the most productive brands in the beverage alcohol industry.

Adam Pizer joins Breakthru from Young’s Market Company where he played an active leadership role within the Estates Fine Wine Division as well as many other critical leadership positions over a 20-year span. He led a highly-successful expansion of the Estates Fine Wine Division into the Pacific Northwest. As the VP, Supplier Business Development – Wine, Pizer will help lead Breakthru’s national wine portfolio.

John Sladek

John Sladek was promoted to his new role from within Breakthru where he was serving as Sales Director for a team of more than 100 associates supporting three wine suppliers. He has a deep familiarity within the wine industry which stems from several sales and strategy roles with increasing responsibility across the country. He began his career as a sales consultant in Chicago focusing on Gallo’s portfolio before serving as a State Manager, Sales Planning Manager, Retail Sales Director and ultimately, Managing Director for Gallo’s Midwest Division.

Kevin Roberts, Breakthru Beverage Group’s Executive VP of Supplier Business Development, is motivated by growth within Breakthru’s supplier division, adding “We are a family company founded on authentic relationships and our partnerships would not be as strong as they are without our talented Breakthru associates.
