October 28, 2026 (Saint Helena, CA) — Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) is investing $630,000 in local programs that empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to help children thrive.
For more than four decades, NVV has invested in the well-being of children and families in Napa Valley. This latest round of giving helps fund parent education and support programs at family resource centers. Each year, more than 4,000 caregivers benefit from education services.
“Parents want to help their children succeed, but knowing what to do or where to turn isn’t always easy. Giving families the right tools and guidance can make a difference for the entire family,” said Jeni Olsen, Executive Director of Cope Family Center.
For one Napa Valley mother, support from ParentsCAN helped her navigate the education system after her son was diagnosed with ADHD. She learned strategies that improved life at home and at school, and her son went on to graduate from high school. When her younger son was later diagnosed with autism, she had the confidence and skills to help him too: “Because of ParentsCAN, my son graduated, and I became the advocate my children needed.”
This investment is part of NVV’s broader commitment to the well-being of Napa County youth and families through its Youth Wellness Initiative.
It builds on NVV’s recently announced $1.8 million for student wellness programs at school and $1.2 million for afterschool and summer programs. Together, these investments support children by meeting them where they are: at school, at home and in the community.
