Champagne Hospitality is a privately owned hospitality group founded by hotelier and entrepreneur Denise Dupré and her husband, Mark Nunnelly. Its portfolio includes Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, a contemporary retreat set among the vineyards of the Champagne region, and Château de la Commaraine, a historic château in the heart of Burgundy’s prestigious Pommard appellation. United by a commitment to exceptional, personalized hospitality and a strong sense of place, both properties celebrate the heritage, culture and winemaking traditions of their respective regions while offering distinctive experiences rooted in their surroundings.

Château la Commaraine officially opened in May 2026 after an extensive five year renovation as one of the region’s first and finest five-star hotels redefining wine tourism in the French region.
Set in Pommard, just 2.5 miles from the world-renowned wine capital of Beaune, the estate dates back to 1112 and was originally built as a fortified manor by Hugues II, Duke of Burgundy. It has since passed through generations of noble families, including the de Vienne lineage, whose 16th-century renovations elevated its prominence in the region. Home to a rich and storied winemaking history, the estate has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2015.
Today, Château la Commaraine features 37 elegant rooms and suites, two unique restaurant offerings, a restorative spa with myBlend treatments and a fitness centre, with a hair spa by Flora Lab Paris which debuted last Summer.
The estate includes an 18-metre heated outdoor pool overlooking the vines and its own Cuverie built within the château, along with panoramic terraces offering sweeping vineyard views. The property also offers a private four-bedroom residence complete with its own exclusive tasting room.
The revival of Château la Commaraine reflects a deliberate desire to blend effortlessly with the village of Pommard and the surrounding landscape, weaving together Burgundian traditions and stonework with elegant, contemporary interiors.
