Stoller Wine Group Named a Top Workplace for Fourth Consecutive Year

Family-owned company recognized as only winery across The Oregonian’s 2026 Top Workplaces lists

October 7, 2026 (Dayton, OR) — Stoller Wine Group has once again been named a 2026 Top Workplace by The Oregonian, marking the family-owned company’s fourth consecutive year on the list. Stoller ranked No. 18 among medium-sized companies this year, climbing an impressive 29 spots from its 2025 ranking, and remains the only winery recognized across any of the Top Workplace lists.

The recognition is based entirely on feedback from employees through a confidential survey administered by Energage LLC. The survey measures several aspects of workplace culture and employee experience, making the award a direct reflection of the people who work at the Stoller Wine Group.

“Four consecutive years on this list means a ton because it comes directly from our team,” said Gary Mortensen, president of Stoller Wine Group. “Bill Stoller always believed that the strength of our company would come from the people behind it. To be the only winery recognized, and to continue earning this distinction year after year, tells me we’re carrying that belief forward in a meaningful way.”

The recognition comes during another significant year for Stoller Wine Group, as the company continues to invest in its people, brands and long-term future in Oregon. In 2026, Stoller expanded its Chehalem Estate with the acquisition of a neighboring winery, strengthened its leadership team and continued growing its presence in markets across the country, while remaining grounded in Founder Bill Stoller’s vision to build a company capable of thriving for 200 years.

“To move up 29 spots is exciting, but what I’m most proud of is the consistency,” Mortensen added. “Four years running tells a much bigger story about who we are as a company and the culture our team continues to build together.”

Stoller Wine Group’s family of brands includes Stoller Family Estate, Chehalem, Elouan, Chemistry, History, Stoller Swing and Canned Oregon. The company is also a certified B Corporation, with vineyards and operations carrying LIVE and Salmon-Safe certifications.
