Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation Announces Aldo Delfino Scholarship Recipients

Scholarship program continues to support the next generation of agricultural leaders in Napa County

July 1, 2026 (Napa, CA) — The Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Aldo Delfino Scholarship, recognizing outstanding local students who are pursuing higher education and preparing to make a difference in agriculture, natural resources, and rural communities.

Each year, the Aldo Delfino Scholarship honors students who demonstrate a strong work ethic, academic achievement, leadership, and a passion for agriculture. Named in memory of the late Aldo Delfino, a respected advocate for Napa County agriculture and former Agricultural Commissioner, the scholarship serves as an investment in the people who will help shape the future of the agricultural industry in Napa County.

Since its inception, the Foundation’s scholarship program has awarded more than $250,000 to local students pursuing degrees that support agriculture and rural communities. This year’s recipients represent a bright future for Napa County. Throughout the application and interview process, students shared ambitious goals, innovative ideas, and a genuine desire to give back to the communities that helped shape them. Many expressed plans to return to Napa County after completing their education, bringing new skills, knowledge, and leadership back to our local agricultural industry.

The scholarship program is a partnership with the Jack L. Davies Napa Valley Agricultural Land Preservation Fund, which also awarded scholarship funds to select recipients. The JLD Ag Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting agricultural land in Napa County through education, research, and community investment. Together, our organizations are investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders while helping ensure a strong future for Napa County agriculture.
