According to master winemaker Jon McPhearson, the new anniversary varietals were created especially to commemorate this landmark year embodying the resort’s pioneering commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and sustainable winemaking. “Our anniversary cabernet is a 2023 vintage from our Wild Horse Peak Mountain Vineyards – a complex blend of 86% cabernet sauvignon, 8% malbec and 6% petit sirah – aged for 24 months in French oak to create richness, structure and depth,” he said. “Barrel fermented in French oak, the 25th anniversary sauvignon blanc is a dynamic blend that reimagines the varietal with greater texture and body alongside an added punch of exotic fruit with hints of chardonnay and viognier grapes for a beautifully balanced finish.”
