Pre-Assign Tables Before Guests Arrive
Hosts can now reserve a table for an upcoming reservation before guests walk through the door. A searchable picker sheet with time-slot filters makes it fast to find the right party, even on the busiest service days. Once confirmed, the table is visually marked on the floor plan so every team member knows it’s claimed. No radio calls, no confusion, no accidental double-seating.
Move Guests Without Disrupting Service
When a party needs a different table mid-service, hosts can now move a reservation in seconds. The app enters a guided move mode with a clear on-screen indicator so the whole team knows what’s in progress. Tap the destination table, confirm, and the reservation follows the guest. No re-entering information. No gaps in the record.
Seat Walk-Ins Directly from the Floor Plan
Walk-ins no longer require a trip back to the host stand. Tapping any available table now surfaces an immediate option to seat a walk-in party, capturing guest count and turn time on the spot. The floor plan updates instantly across all devices so every host sees the change as it happens.Walk-In customer data can also be captured and synced with the wineries POS.
Live Capacity Intelligence in the New Reservation Workflow
When creating a new reservation, tasting room staff now have a live capacity strip that surfaces availability in real time, while the guest is still on the phone. Before selecting an experience, a day-level bar shows total availability across all offerings. Selecting an experience expands the strip to reveal per-slot in-house counts, so staff can see exactly how much genuine room remains at each time slot. Color coding makes the answer immediate and unmistakable.
Resource Planning: A Management View of the Entire Day
A new Resource Planning screen, accessible from the main menu, gives managers and ownership a full-day grid of every experience and every time slot. Navigate by day or jump to any date on the calendar, and see at a glance where capacity is light, where it’s building, and where it’s already full. The same color language used on the floor scales up to the planning view — no training required, no translation needed.
