Inaugural “Bud Break BBQ” on March 21 Anticipates Summer Blending Parties and Legendary Harvest Festival Dinners

February 26, 2026 (Paso Robles, CA) — For more than 25 years, Opolo Vineyards has set the pace for friendly family-style hospitality at its Willow Creek District estate, and that legacy continues this year with a full slate of seasonal events from spring through fall.
“Our aim with these events is to offer fun, interactive and immersive experiences that provide unique value and indelible memories for our guests,” said Director of Marketing Ricki Quinn.
Each event happens at the Opolo estate, featuring panoramic views overlooking the estate vineyards and surrounding coastal mountain range. Tickets may be purchased at Opolo.com. Opolo’s 2026 schedule includes the following events:
Inaugural Bud Break BBQ on March 21
Opolo celebrates the advent of spring with its first-ever “Bud Break BBQ,” named for the seasonal vineyard “bud break” that signals the start of the growing season. The festivities include a family-style BBQ dinner paired with select Opolo wines along with live music and dancing—all in a warm, lively setting that captures Opolo’s hospitality at its best.
The Kitchen at Opolo is going all out with starters such as BBQ oysters, pork belly sliders and mini shrimp. Main courses include smoked baby back ribs, beef ribs, chicken wings, kielbasa and Italian sausages, all paired with Opolo wines and punctuated by peach and blueberry cobbler. Live music will be provided by Leslie & The Soul Shakers. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. $140/person ($120/members).

Barrel Room Blending Parties on July 11 & 18
Opolo’s interactive Barrel Room Blending Parties allow guests to be a “winemaker for the day” as they create their own perfect Bordeaux-style blend from provided barrel samples. Even better, each guest will take home a magnum bottle of their creation. The fun also includes an expert panel who will taste and judge each finished wine to crown the winning blend. The winner earns a trophy in the form of an etched double magnum. Don’t miss this fun, educational and uniquely exciting wine experience. $170/person ($150/members).

Harvest Festival Dinner & Grape Stomp on October 16 &17
Offered on two successive nights, Opolo’s Harvest Festival Dinner has reached legendary status for its unforgettable mix of good fun, fine wine and delicious food. This festive evening includes grape stomping, wine tasting, dining, dancing, traditional Balkan music, beautiful fall weather and stunning hilltop views. Tickets will be available at Opolo.com starting on April 15 (members presale starting April 1), and sellouts are expected as always. Stay tuned at Opolo.com
