February 25, 2026 (Napa, CA)The Napa Valley Wine Train announced Mike McNeil as its new Director of Sales and Revenue. McNeil joined the Napa Valley Wine Train in December 2024 as Director of Revenue Management. In that role, he strengthened the company’s forecasting, pricing, and demand-management disciplines. His analytical rigor and cross department collaboration laid the foundation for stronger booking pace, aligned promotions, and increased yield across the full portfolio of luxury onboard experiences. 

In his new role, McNeil will oversee the company’s integrated commercial strategy with a primary focus on expanding group sales, private events, and affiliate partnerships while optimizing overall revenue. Simultaneously, he will ensure that revenue strategy, pricing, and distribution will support sustainable growth and optimal occupancy.

McNeil’s intimate involvement in supporting group sales at the Napa Valley Wine Train has imbued him with a passion for the group customer experience. From intimate gatherings of 21 guests to full buyouts of up to 350, he recognizes the Napa Valley Wine Train’s legacy as the premier Wine Country attraction, seamlessly blending a luxury railcar experience with the region’s celebrated food and wine culture. Under his leadership, the Napa Valley Wine Train continues to deliver customized group experiences across corporate events, social celebrations, weddings, and tour and travel programs. Ensuring an ideal fit for every occasion, group offerings range from team-building Murder Mystery rides and winemaker dinners to group trivia experiences and multi-winery tasting journeys featuring three winery stops, a four-course meal, and a finale all-train dance party.

McNeil holds a master’s degree in public communication from California State University, Chico, and is currently pursuing both the FMVA and BIDA certifications through the Corporate Finance Institute. He is a North Bay Business Journal Forty Under 40 award recipient and previously served on the Executive Board of the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau as Treasurer for the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art.
