August 20, 2025 (Temecula, CA) — Wilson Creek Winery proudly announces the appointment of Jayna Alvarez as its new General Manager of Wine Operations, bringing more than 20 years of leadership in wine hospitality and winery management to one of Temecula Valley’s most celebrated family-owned wineries.

Alvarez joins Wilson Creek after serving as General Manager of Ponte Winery, where she directed a team of over 120 employees and oversaw all aspects of winery operations including tasting rooms, restaurants, events, wine club, winemaking, and marketing.

Armed with a Business Administration degree from Chapman University, hospitality training from the Disney Institute, advanced WSET wine certifications, and wine business management training from UC Davis and Sonoma State, Alvarez blends operational expertise with a passion for exceptional guest experiences.
