Bidding Now Open for Collective Napa Valley Barrel and Live Lots

5/28/2024 – Saint Helena, CA – Bidding has begun on barrel and live lots in the Collective Napa Valley Auction Weekend. The in-person auction experience is sold out. Wine enthusiasts can still take part from anywhere in the world by registering to bid online through Sotheby’s. Bid on Napa Valley Barrel Auction Lots

Some of Napa Valley’s finest wines are still in barrel and waiting to be procured in an auction like no other. The Napa Valley Barrel Auction provides an exciting, gamified experience for bidders.

Each lot includes a half-barrel of yet-to-be released wine. The top ten bids on each lot will win a 12-bottle case. To secure a place on the leaderboard, bidders need to place a bid higher than the previous. The idea is to not get knocked off the board before the auction ends.

There are 80 participating wineries totaling 800 cases of wine for sale in this year’s auction. Bids start at $360 on one 12-bottle case of Napa Valley wine. Bidders are encouraged to bid early and bid often to stay on the board.

Many Napa Valley wineries are taking part including Acumen, Alpha Omega, AvinoDos Wines, Bazán Cellars, Cakebread Cellars, Cardinale, Far Niente, Frog’s Leap, HALL, Keever Vineyards, Louis M. Martini Winery, Merus, Mi Sueño Winery, Nickel & Nickel, Paraduxx, Salvestrin, Silverado Vineyards, Stony Hill Vineyard, The Vice, Taplin Cellars, Truchard Vineyards, Turnbull Wine Cellars, William Cole Vineyards and so many more.

Wine enthusiasts from anywhere in the world can bid virtually. Lots begin closing on Friday, May 31 at 4 p.m.
