April 2nd – Castle Rock Winery is proud to announce they have won two Gold Medals, with 91-point scores – for their 2022 Mendocino County Pinot Noir and 2022 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at this year’s Toast of the Coast Wine Comp. Castle Rock Winery Owner Greg Popovich stated “the year is still young, and this comes on top of two 91-point scores and six 90-point scores last month from James Suckling, a Platinum and two Gold Medals at this year’s Monterey International Wine Comp – and a Double Gold – 96 points for our Columbia Valley Chardonnay at this year’s Los Angeles Invitational Wine & Spirits Challange. This is all proving that our winemaker, Meghan Rech, not only makes wines that represent incredible values, she makes wines that quality wise are consistently punching above their weight class.”
According to Wine Business Monthly Castle Rock Winery is now the 47th Largest Bonded Winery in the U.S. out of over 11,000.
