Healdsburg, CA – January 22, 2024 – Healdsburg’s wine tasting scene is now offering a new level of experience, as Montagne Russe proudly announces the grand opening of its record shop, Vino and Vinyls, within its tasting room. While enjoying Montagne Russe’s outstanding wine selections, guests can now peruse and listen to over 2,000 new and used records, available for trade or purchase.
Montagne Russe is a small winery that specializes in cool-climate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah from primarily the Petaluma Gap and greater Sonoma Coast AVA. They opened their first tasting room in July of 2021 within the newly developed wine tasting complex, Bacchus Landing – located just ¾ of a mile down Westside Road from downtown Healdsburg.
Upon opening, Montagne Russe’s owner and winemaker, Kevin Bersofsky, started his own personal record collection to play at the tasting room. As it grew, people were continuously asking to buy his records… And so began the idea of creating a record shop within the tasting room.
It’s a unique offering that many guests find to be nostalgic and entertaining to browse through the hundreds of albums and take home a special piece of their wine tasting experience.
In addition to the record shop, Montagne Russe will host periodic events to spotlight Vino and Vinyls, including their Vino & Vinyls Trivia Night Series and special “Vino and Vinyls Happy Hours”.
The grand opening of Vino and Vinyls is scheduled for Saturday, January 27 from Noon to 5 P.M., and Montagne Russe invites all wine lovers and music enthusiasts to join in on the celebration. Light bites and snack will be provided, as well as specials on wines by the glass, tastings, and bottles. Open to all. Please RSVP to info@russewines.com so that they may plan food accordingly.
The evening continues with Montagne Russe’s Vino & Vinyls Trivia Night from 5:00 to 7:30 P.M. Tickets are $20 each and includes one glass of wine of your choice.
