Kuhlman Cellars Releases Three New Wines in Time for Texas Wine Month

One bottle was grown 100% on Kuhlman’s Texas Hill Country Estate.

Stonewall, Texas – September 21, 2022 – Kuhlman Cellars is excited to announce three new wines released just in time for Texas Wine Month: 2021 Estate Roussanne, 2019 Barranca, and 2019 KanKar. The wines were first made available to Kuhlman Cellars’ Vina Vita Wine Club and are now available to the public.

The newly released wines are:

  • 2021 Estate Roussanne – ($34) The 5th vintage of Kuhlman’s Estate Roussanne continues to be a delicate and fruit-forward wine with aromas of pear, guava, and white flowers. The taste is very intense with flavors of lemon, lime zest and banana accentuating the balanced acidity that lingers making it a perfect accompaniment to any Thai dish. The fruit was 100% grown on the Kuhlman Cellars Estate and was aged in stainless steel. Buy it here
  • 2019 Barranca – ($38) This wine would be a perfect First Day of Fall bottle to open. The 2019 Barranca is a Petite Sirah (44%) led blend supported by Tempranillo (28%) and Malbec (17%). The nose is inviting with aromas of tobacco, licorice, mint, thyme, and dried cherries. This enchanting wine has flavors of chocolate, cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper and is perfect paired with beef short ribs. Buy it here.
  • 2019 KanKar – ($48) This is the perfect special occasion wine! With warm aromas of blueberry, blackberry and fresh sage, the 2019 KanKar is another powerhouse wine drinking amazing today but also offering cellar potential for years to come. As the wine opens up it welcomes you with flavors of chocolate, violet and candied bacon making it a perfect accompaniment to a leg of lamb with garlic cannellini beans. Buy it here
