Annual event celebrates the joys of Spring on April 5, 2020
Sutter Creek, CA, 9 March 2020 – The sights and sounds of Spring will fill historic Sutter Creek as guests visit the town’s boutique wineries to enjoy the annual Wildflowers & Wine event on Sunday, April 5, 2020. The event fills the town with the beauty of the season’s bounty of wildflowers, incredible wine experiences and pairings, sounds of musicians and wonderful artisans and vendors throughout.
“Wildflowers & Wine is the perfect, verdant celebration of Spring,” noted Wine on 49 President, Kelsey Mort. “Visitors will get to stroll to and from each of our participating wineries to enjoy great wine pairing and intimate tasting experiences, all while enjoying incredible music that buoys you from winery to winery. The town is filled with local wildflower bouquets, artists, vendors and general happiness and joy.”
Now in its fifth year, Wildflowers & Wine is a limited ticket availability providing guests with a unique and special experience. Eight tasting rooms will each feature unique tasting and pairing opportunities providing guests an opportunity to enjoy and learn more about the winery and the region. Wildflowers from local flower farms will be gathered into bouquets and arrangements and will adorn the historic town with beauty and splendor.
The event also features storefronts, galleries, shops and the streets of Sutter Creek filled with artisan vendors selling unique and handmade crafts, plein air artists working on masterpieces for guests to see, musicians around many corners, and flowers available for guests to wear and enjoy. The celebration of all things wine and spring in Sutter Creek is the perfect time to plan a weekend to take in the splendor – bed and breakfasts, boutique inns, delicious restaurants and music will abound throughout Wildflowers & Wine weekend and throughout the year in this charming wine region.
