Bottle360 can now carry design and branding straight through their platform to WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Weebly, Squarespace, GoDaddy, BigCommerce, and beyond with no website migration required
SEATTLE, WA — September 8th, 2026 — Bottle360 today announced the release of its headless commerce interface, allowing wineries to connect a full-featured Bottle360 storefront to nearly any website builder on the market. What began as a WordPress plugin has evolved into a platform-agnostic commerce layer, freeing wineries from the long-standing tradeoff between the ecommerce engine they need and the website platform they actually want. Bottle360 is the only platform worldwide to offer this advantage to the wine industry.

At the center of the release is the Styling Studio, Bottle360’s visual design system, now accessible directly from within the Bottle360 admin panel. Fonts, colors, spacing, button treatments, and layout rules configured in Styling Studio pass through automatically to the storefront wherever it is embedded, Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, GoDaddy, BigCommerce, WordPress, Shopify, and more. The store inherits the winery’s brand without a developer hand-writing and maintaining a separate stylesheet for every platform. This is a noteworthy milestone as Bottle360 positions themselves as the leading technology partner for wineries.
The end of the platform lock-in problem
For many years, wineries evaluating DTC commerce platforms have faced the same question: is the store worth rebuilding the entire website around? Migrations for other ecommerce platforms have historically been expensive, slow, risky, and they frequently stall a winery’s ecommerce roadmap for months.
Bottle360’s headless architecture removes the question entirely. A winery on Squarespace stays on Squarespace. A winery whose marketing team is fluent in Wix keeps building in Wix. The storefront including the cart, checkout, club management, allocations, and product catalog, is all delivered into the existing site, and the existing site keeps doing what it already does well.
Built for the people building winery websites
The release is aimed as much at agencies and independent designers as at wineries themselves. Connecting a commerce backend to a custom-designed site has traditionally meant thousands of lines of integration and styling code, written once per platform and maintained indefinitely.
With Styling Studio driving presentation from the Bottle360 admin, designers configure the storefront visually and embed it. Projects close faster. Designers move to the next client sooner, take on more redesign work, and can now say yes to clients on platforms they previously had to turn away.
For wineries, that translates into a wider field of qualified design partners, more competitive pricing, and dramatically shorter timelines from kickoff to launch.
“Going headless was the right architectural decision because we have met so many wineries who were on Wix, Weebly or Squarespace and they wanted the same deluxe webstore experience that others have been achieving with our WordPress plugin. This new release solves a huge issue for wineries who have been stuck for decades with being forced to redesign their website and migrate ecommerce platforms at the same time.” — Tim Murry, Vice President, Bottle360
Regarding our existing WordPress Plugin which is the immediate precursor to this new headless commerce initiative, multiple design agencies are already seeing the benefits:
“The new Bottle360 WordPress Plugin represents a major leap forward in how wineries bring their online storefronts to life. With its streamlined setup and their new Bridge Styling Studio, teams can fully customize the
look and feel of their Bottle360 integration—fonts, colors, buttons, layouts, and on‑page components—without writing a single line of code. It gives wineries complete creative control and a far more intuitive way to manage their digital customer experience.” — Louis Gottfried, Technology Director, WineGlass Marketing a Colangelo & Partners Company

About Bottle360
Bottle360 was built on more than 25 years of experience helping merchants succeed across retail, hospitality, and ecommerce. When the team entered the wine industry in 2017, they saw wineries relying on too few DTC platform options, minimal support, and very high pricing, so they acquired a platform originally built by former WineDirect, wine shipping, and wine compliance professionals, and set out to make it better.
Since then, and with the help of talented wine industry engineers and team members, that foundation has been rebuilt into the most robust, easy-to-use direct-to-consumer platform available for wineries today. Bottle360 is now an all-in-one solution combining POS, ecommerce, wine club management, CRM, inventory, wholesale, reporting, and the 2025 WINnovation Award–winning WineWallet™ loyalty program — all backed by a 24/7 U.S.-based support team.
Bottle360’s mission is simple: champion wineries of every size with a platform that makes selling direct-to-consumer easier, more profitable, and more personal.
