Paso Wine Fest 2027 Scheduled for May 14-16

May 28, 2026 (Paso Robles, CA) — Paso Wine Fest saw strong attendance and winery participation across three signature events held May 15–17, 2026, reinforcing its position as one of California’s premier wine festivals and a growing success story within the wine industry.

Now in its fourth decade, Paso Wine Fest has evolved significantly since being reimagined following the pandemic to better reflect the welcoming and immersive experience of Paso Robles Wine Country. What was once centered around a single tasting event has transformed into a dynamic three-day weekend celebrating the region’s wineries, culinary scene, hospitality, and community.

Nearly 3,500 tickets were issued across Paso Wine Fest events, including the Grand Tasting, Paired Paso, and Sparkling Paso. Attendees traveled from 38 states, with approximately 66% visiting from outside San Luis Obispo County. Nearly 65% of guests were first-time attendees, demonstrating continued momentum in attracting new audiences to Paso Robles Wine Country, particularly among younger consumers with more than 50% of attendees under the age of 45.

“Paso Wine Fest continues to grow and attract new audiences each year, proving there is still strong excitement around wine when it’s paired with authentic experiences and a sense of place,” said Joel Peterson, CEO of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “Paso Robles brings together incredible wine, great food, welcoming hospitality, and a fun, genuine community, and people want to be part of that energy.”

Paso Wine Fest Weekend Events

Eleven winery and chef teams competed in the sold-out Paired Paso wine and food pairing competition that kicked off the weekend. Cairjn Wine Cellars with Chef Candice Custodio of Club Sup Sup earned the Judges’ Choice Award, while Le Cuvier Winery with their in-house Chef Kyle Baca and Tobin James Cellars with their private Chef Sam Eitel tied for the People’s Choice Award.

At the Grand Tasting, 127 wineries were joined by 10 local restaurants offering complimentary bites, alongside distilleries, breweries, food trucks, and artisan vendors to offer a complete wine country experience.

Paso Wine Fest concluded with a sold-out Sparkling Paso brunch-time bubbles event featuring Paso Robles sparkling wines paired with gourmet bites at Paris Valley Road Estate Winery. Additional events at area wineries were held throughout the weekend.

Paso Robles Wine Month Capstone Event

Paso Wine Fest served as the capstone celebration for the inaugural Paso Robles Wine Month, a month-long campaign collaboration between the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, Paso Robles CAB Collective, and Travel Paso designed to spotlight the region’s wineries, hospitality partners, and unique wine country experiences. Throughout May, wineries across the region hosted special tastings, winemaker dinners, vineyard experiences, and events that drove visitation and engagement throughout Paso Robles Wine Country.
