The latest scores from Antonio Galloni (Vinous) and James Suckling highlight the consistency and depth of a philosophy born in the vineyard — where altitude, precision, and respect for nature give life to wines of rare authenticity.

In his recent feature on Chianti Classico, Antonio Galloni described Montefili’s Chianti Classico 2021 as “a total knockout… a fabulous introduction to the range”, awarding it 94 points. 

The Bruno di Rocca 2020, a Cabernet Sauvignon of remarkable elegance and tension, received 96 points, confirming itself as one of the most poised and pure interpretations of the territory. 

James Suckling also recognised Montefili’s distinctive voice: the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vinea Vecchia 2020 achieved 95 points, while Vinea nel Bosco 2020, Anfiteatro 2020, and Bruno di Rocca 2020 received between 92 and 94 points.
