The training programme requested by companies has started at Villa Blanc in Rome. Twenty students from different countries and academic backgrounds have been selected.
September 25, 2025 (Italy) — On September 15th, classes began for the Wine Business Program, a training course for young talents motivated to pursue a career in the wine industry, promoted by the Consorzio Italia del Vino in collaboration with Luiss Business School, at the Villa Blanc headquarters in Rome.

The 20 selected participants – 18 Italian students and 2 from Poland and Kazakhstan – have an average age of 24 and different academic backgrounds: 7 are undergraduate students, 8 are graduates with a bachelor’s degree and 5 own a master’s degree.
“We are ready to embark on the wonderful experience of the Wine Business Program in collaboration with Luiss Business School”, says Roberta Corrà, President of Italia del Vino. “It will be a wonderful journey for the students, 20 young people interested in growing in the wine industry, but also for us producers, who will have the opportunity to accompany them and understand their approach to wine”.
The 37 days of classroom training will take place until December 3rd, and will be followed by an internship and project work between January and March 2026. The project is supported by the US magazine Wine Enthusiast as key media partner and by Veronafiere as supporting partner.
“Our Faculty studies the complex dynamics of business and related global trends through intensive applied research and constant dialogue with companies in order to provide innovative ideas and managerial solutions”, says Raffaele Oriani, Dean of Luiss Business School. “In a particularly challenging market context for the wine industry, it is essential to lead companies on a path of growth and transformation capable of strengthening their competitiveness. We do this by enhancing, consolidating and transferring skills to develop a managerial approach that is open to innovation and capable of facing future challenges with awareness and vision”.
Fundamental will be the experience of the Consortium’s partner companies, where students will undertake internships that will allow them to immerse themselves in the real work. The Consorzio Italia del Vino now brings together 23 companies operating in 17 Italian wine-producing regions, covering a total of 15,000 hectares of vineyards and employing a total workforce of over 3,500 people.
Italia del Vino thus reaffirms its mission: to invest in young talents with an excellent training program alongside companies which are true symbols of quality.
