Podcast hosts Keith Wallace and Alana Zerbe return to challenge old assumptions and bring fresh, unfiltered insight to the world of wine.

September 15, 2025 (Philadelphia, PA) — The acclaimed podcast After Wine School has launched the first episode of its highly anticipated second season, opening with a fiery topic: the “Five Wine Myths That Need to Die.” on September 17th.
Hosted by Keith Wallace, a UC Davis–trained winemaker, author, and critic, and Alana Zerbe, an attorney and director of national wine education programs, the show blends deep expertise with candid, conversational storytelling. The duo has earned a following for their ability to tackle wine’s most persistent clichés with humor and authority.
“Wine should be about joy, not intimidation,” said Wallace. “Season Two starts with myths we hear every day — from the idea that expensive wine is always better, to the belief that only old bottles are worth drinking. We’re setting those myths on fire.”
Zerbe added: “Our listeners appreciate that we don’t sugarcoat it. We pull back the curtain on the industry, but always with the goal of empowering people to trust their own palate.”
Season One of After Wine School drew attention for its mix of history, industry analysis, and straight talk. Season Two promises more of the same — sharper conversations, myth-busting episodes, and stories that go beyond tasting notes to explore wine’s cultural and personal impact.
New episodes are available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, with fresh releases every two weeks.
