September 3, 2025 (Farra di Soligo, Italy) — In the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the La Farra estate has represented – for over 25 years – an authentic expression of a profound relationship with the land and with a family’s roots.
Founded in 1997 by siblings Adamaria, Innocente and Guido Nardi, La Farra pursues with passion and continuity the legacy of their parents, transforming know-how that has been handed down for generations into outstanding wines that reveal terroir, care and identity.
La Farra interprets and sells Conegliano Valdobbiadene wines in both “single vineyard/Cru” and Cuvée versions.
The former seeks to display the distinctive nature of the Rive of Farra di Soligo, both in the elegant, dry and mineral Extra Brut style and in the Extra Dry version, with its excellent balance and delightful tanginess. The “Cuvée” version, on the other hand, brings together the grapes from the estate’s vineyards in four different micro zones, lying in the municipal areas of Farra di Soligo, Follina, San Pietro di Feletto and Pieve di Soligo: it offers the best possible combination of the characteristics of fruit produced in a variety of soils and microclimates. To highlight the qualities of the grapes from these different zones to the full, La Farra offers a Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. Millesimato (Vintage) Brut, with a fine and persistent perlage and which displays freshness, balance and very pure aromas and flavors; an Extra Dry, which is mellow and fruity, perfect for those who are seeking roundedness and intensity; a “Sui Lieviti” Brut Nature version that is both extremely quaffable and long-lived and, lastly, a Frizzante, with its lighter, jovial style, an authentic reminder of the area’s everyday drinking tradition.
The wines of La Farra are produced from a selection of the estate’s finest Glera grapes. Each plot of land, each bunch of grapes is looked after with craftsmanlike care, in a production process that does not allow any shortcuts but promotes absolute respect for the environment and for obtaining an authentic and genuine product in the glass.
The heroic viticulture practiced in these high hills, with manual harvesting and meticulous pruning, is the tangible sign of a rare authenticity, which translates into elegant, fresh, and highly expressive wines. Every bottle tells the story of a fragment of the landscape and a slice of life lived in the vineyards, in the conviction that excellence only stems from everyday tasks that are carried out in a heartfelt, sincere manner.
“Our family grew up amid the vine rows, learning since childhood the meaning of self-sacrifice and of the beauty that the land can offer”, say the Nardis. Family life and that of the estate have always been one and the same thing: the harvest experienced as a collective ritual, the lunches in the vineyards, the stories shared among the generations are all elements that are reflected today in the unique personality of La Farra’s wines.
Today each sibling has a key role in the business, guaranteeing direct control over every stage of production: Innocente is responsible for the estate’s agronomic and administrative management, Guido looks after the winery with his technical and enthusiastic approach, while Adamaria demonstrates her sensibility in handling sales and hospitality at the winery.
In 2023, the “La Farra” wine tourism project found its focus in the renovation of the Casolare Belvedere farmhouse, immersed in the heroic vineyards of the Nardi’s Rive. More than a mere building, the Casolare is a very special place in which wine comes together with local culture, history, and the beauty of the countryside. Guided tastings, walks through the vineyards, readings with authors: every experience is designed to transmit the authentic values that lie behind La Farra.
With SQNPI certification for its integrated farming methods and adhering as it does to the Viticultural Protocol of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Producers’ Consortium, La Farra adopts growing practices that respect the environment and human health, but always with quality in mind. Every element of production always lies in a constant balance between tradition and innovation, past and future, roots and horizons.
La Farra is much more than a wine-producing estate: it is a family that has made sincerity, dedication and respect for the land its fundamental principles. Every bottle is the result of a shared vision, composed of authentic deeds and values that have always stood the test of time. It is an invitation to discover, sip after sip, the true soul of the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.
