Three Valleys, One Vision: Sonoma County’s Wine Regions Come Together in Support and Strength

Healdsburg, CA, July 29, 2025 — Three of Sonoma County’s most iconic wine regions—Dry Creek ValleyRussian River Valley, and Alexander Valley—have come together to forge a collaborative path forward, celebrating community, resilience, and mutual support. On Wednesday, July 30th, all three valleys will join for an afternoon cheers at Ru’s Farm—a casual yet meaningful gathering where members from Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley, and Alexander Valley can reconnect, mingle, and raise a glass to shared purpose. Given all three valleys neighbor the town of Healdsburg, Ru’s Farm was an intentional choice and will be the perfect venue. This event marks the first of many collaborative efforts between the regions, with all three organizations excited to foster deeper connection and unity within Sonoma County’s vibrant wine community.

While each valley has its own unique character, the three also share something deep-rooted: a commitment to the land, to their people, and to each other. With dynamic female leaders at the helm, Lauren Fremont, Executive Director of Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley, Jesslyn Jackson, Executive Director of Russian River Valley Winegrowers, and Jessie Poshepny Vallery, Executive Director of Winegrowers of Alexander Valley have joined forces not only because they have the same goals but also to support and lean on one another as they don’t have a big team of their own.

This collaborative spirit reflects a larger movement in Sonoma County—where community comes first, and competition takes a backseat to cooperation. Whether facing challenges or celebrating milestones, the winegrowers and winemakers of these valleys are proving that together, we thrive.

“The power of Sonoma County lies not just in the quality of our wines, but in the strength of our relationships,” says Lauren Fremont, Executive Director of WDCV. “By connecting and collaborating, we ensure that each valley continues to shine while lifting up our neighbors.”

Future joint initiatives between the valleys will include shared events, co-promotions, and storytelling that spotlights the diversity and camaraderie of the region. The alliance sends a clear message: when Sonoma County’s valleys support each other, the entire region benefits.
