100% of event proceeds benefit game-changing cancer research

July 21, 2025 (Napa Valley, CA) — The V Foundation for Cancer Research is proud to announce the upcoming Wine Celebration Gala & Auction on August 2, 2025, at Nickel & Nickel Winery in Oakville, California. The event will be hosted by legendary Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski, Naismith Hall of Fame inductee, five-time national championship head coach at Duke University, and winner of six gold medals with the U.S. Men’s National team. The event will also feature James Beard honored, award-winning, Michelin Green Star Celebrity Chef Rebecca Weitzman for an incredible gala dinner paired with wines from the House of Far Niente, featuring Nickel & Nickel, EnRoute, and Dolce. The evening continues with the auction and culminates at the popular After-Party at The Estate Yountville Hotel Villagio.
The Auction will offer 26 experiential lots curated exclusively for this event, and all auction bids will directly benefit lifesaving cancer research through the V Foundation. The full catalog is available here, and highlights include:
- Gorillas & The Big Five: A Rwanda Adventure: This 10-day Rwanda adventure for two offers VIP treatment, luxury accommodations, and unforgettable wildlife encounters, including gorilla trekking and a “Big Five” safari. Guests will explore Kigali’s culture, immerse themselves in rural life, and conclude with a 3-year vertical of Barbour Cabernet Sauvignon.
- A Backyard Michelin Dinner with Nancy Silverton & The Mascot: Enjoy an exclusive dinner at Chef Nancy Silverton’s home, featuring a menu personally curated by the culinary icon.
