Tule Combines Agronomic Expertise with Cutting-Edge Artificial Intelligence

Founded in 2014, Tule (pronounced “too-lee”) combines agronomic expertise with cutting-edge artificial intelligence to provide growers with irrigation decision support. Our UC Davis research-based sensor technology measures the Actual Evapotranspiration (ETa) of a field, provide daily crop water stress measurements, and monitor irrigation in real-time.

Tule’s latest offering, Tule Vision, enables grape growers  to take midday Leaf Water Potential readings using a smartphone camera.

In 2023, Tule Technologies was acquired by CropX Technologies. The CropX system offers its users real-time mobile and desktop insights and advice on irrigation, disease control, nutrient management and more, based on above-ground crop sensing data and below-ground soil monitoring.

Tule customers will have the opportunity to access the full agronomic management solution of CropX, which includes field data aggregation, agronomic planning tools for irrigation, disease, nutrition, and effluent management activities, and tracking and reporting capabilities.
