[Mendocino County CA, September 07, 2023] — Viña Concha y Toro USA, the US subsidiary of the world’s largest B Corp winery and pioneer of South American fine wine, strengthens its fine wine division with the promotion of Sarah Maurantonio to California Region Manager.

Maurantonio’s appointment is part of a nationwide specialist expansion dedicated to growing the crown jewels of Chile, Argentina, and Mendocino County in California as part of Viña Concha y Toro’s luxury portfolio known as the Origins Collection. Sarah joined the team in 2021 and distinguished herself by rapidly growing the company’s on-premise profile across California and Hawaii. Her prior history included both on-premise territory and team management with Wine Warehouse, media sales in Northern California, and various roles with high-profile wineries in Napa Valley.

“There is no better person to lead this initiative than Sarah; she has such passion for the world of wine and the terroir-driven icons in our portfolio,” said Brian Condon, Vice President of Sales West. Unveiling the gems within the Origins Collection’s portfolio is a source of joy for Sarah. “Our wines have incredible stories to tell, and our talented winemakers craft profiles that people savor,” said Sarah. “The quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable, and I can’t wait to help more people discover these exceptional wines.”

The Origins Collection division curates terroir-driven wines, including estate and icon wines from South America and California. Jewels from the New World include acclaimed Viña Don Melchor, Marques de Casa Concha Heritage, Amelia from Chile, and Bodega Trivento Eolo from Argentina. California treasures include Bonterra Organic Estates’ Single Vineyard Collection from Regenerative Organic Certified® estate ranches in Mendocino County: ‘The Butler,’ ‘The McNab,’ and ‘The Roost,’ as well as Sanctuary from Sonoma Coast, and Alea Fina from Napa.

Category specialists are a cornerstone of the Origins Collection strategy. “Extraordinary wines deserve extraordinary advocates. Specialists like Sarah bring the Origins Collection’s wines to life with unrivaled expertise,” emphasized Isabel Guilisasti, Concha y Toro’s Vice President of Fine Wine and Global Image.

Following its remarkable 29th year of recognition by Wine & Spirits as a Top 100 Winery, Viña Concha y Toro’s leadership as a premier purveyor of fine wines surges forward. Bolstered by an expanded team of experts, Viña Concha y Toro USA is poised to accelerate and further elevate the benchmark for fine wine experiences.
