Santa CruzApril 4, 2023 – Wines of Santa Cruz Mountains is pleased to announce its Seventh Annual Grand Tasting to be held on April 30, 2023 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. The event will feature over 150 wines from 45 producers. The Grand Tasting is a great way for attendees to learn about the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA with its wide range of microclimates, elevations and soils while tasting high-quality wines from the region. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with winemakers from the various wineries and a silent auction featuring rare and collectible wines will be open for bids.
Grand Tasting VIP tickets are available. They will include early entry, access to the VIP lounge where the AVA’s sparkling wines will be offered along with small bites from local chefs. For an additional fee, VIP ticket holders may add the “Winery Tasting Experience” where wines from Ridge Vineyards, Kathryn Kennedy, Mount Eden, Thomas Fogarty, House Family Vineyards and more. - General Admission Grand Tasting – $79. Tickets include a three-hour tasting of wines of over 150 wines and a commemorative wine glass. 1PM – 4PM
- VIP Grand Tasting tickets – $120. Includes early entry and a commemorative wine glass as well as access to the VIP lounge where Santa Cruz Mountains Rosé and Sparkling wines and small bites from local chefs by Oak & Rye and Enoteca La Storia, Marini’s chocolates, and cupcakes by ChefPonza will be served.
- VIP Grand Tasting + Library experience – $170. Add the Library Wine Tasting Experience to your VIP ticket–led by winemakers and sommeliers, the Library Wines Tent will feature library wines from Ridge Vineyards, Kathryn Kennedy, Mount Eden, Thomas Fogarty, House Family Vineyards and more.
