The Austrian Wine Marketing Board Announces Retail-Focused Promotion Aptly Named “Austrian Wine Time”

Austria Wine invites wine retailers across the USA to participate in a new promotion this spring. Registration now open.

(New York, NY) January 12, 2021 – The Austrian Wine Marketing Board is happy to announce the second retail-focused program for the marketing board, the first since 2013, and invites wine retailers from across the country to register and participate.

After a particularly difficult 2020, Austrian wine aims to support both its retailers and Austrian winemakers while spreading the word about Austrian wine to consumers.

Participating retailers are asked to carry 6 SKUs of Austrian wine at any given time and host at least 1 in-store and/or virtual tasting for their customers.

In return for participation, Austrian wine is offering a VIP ticket to VieVinum 2021 (can be used at a later date if travel is prohibited) to the store with the most-creative promotion. They are also offering both press and advertising opportunities, merchandise, and a complimentary educational class for all staff on March 8, 2021 hosted by Jesse Becker, MS.

The promotion is set to run March – April and registration is required to participate.
