Niles, IL – June 3, 2020 – From one of California’s most successful winemaking duo’s Richard Bruno and Chris Condos at Vinum Cellars is committed to giving back and partnering with Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation.  A portion of the Vinum Cellars PETS Petite Sirah sales will go directly to supporting A.R.F.

PETS Petite Sirah is in its 21st vintage, and the Petite Sirah grapes continue to come from the exceptional vineyard farmed by Ken Wilson, a third-generation farmer in Clarksburg, California established in 1922. Winemakers Richard Bruno and Chris Condos named this Petite Sirah, “PETS,” which is the growers’ abbreviation for the varietal. The label features a picture of Wilson’s dog, Tanker, and the description of the wine is inspired by the canine – “dark colored, long legged and bold”, we feel this wine has the potential to be your best friend.

“Rescue animals have enhanced the lives of their human companions for decades,” says Richard Bruno, Winemaker and President of Vinum Cellars. “This donation is our way of giving back at a time when needed most as resources have become scarce.”
