Treasury Wine EstatesNapa Valley, CA – May 17, 2016 – More than 500 employees from Treasury Wine Estates’ US & Canadian offices will be out in the community this week to lend a helping hand to various local organizations as part of the Company’s second annual Global Volunteering Week, running May 16-20, 2016.

Building on the success of TWE’s inaugural Global Volunteering Week in 2015, the team will be working with organizations such as: Napa Valley CanDO, Habitat for Humanity, Napa County Resource Conservation District, Redwood Empire Food Bank, Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind and the Calgary Food Bank performing a wide variety of duties throughout the week.

Global Volunteering Week forms a central pillar of Treasury Wine Estate’s Corporate Responsibility program, aiming to ensure the Company is a positive force within the communities in which it operates.

“The goodwill generated among employees and local charities through our volunteering efforts last year was tremendous. More importantly we contributed to some vital causes that support people in need. We recognize the important role we can play in giving back to the community and we’re excited to be building on our efforts from last year,” said Debra Dommen, VP, Government & Industry Affairs.

Employees in every function and region of the company are involved in the initiative, including Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Europe, Asia and Middle East & Africa. Teams will be taking allocated volunteering leave to work with charitable partners in their communities.
