Oregon Chef Adrien Calmels Hosts One-Night Tasting Dinner at Bjornson Vineyard

Oregon chef Adrien Calmels will host a one-night-only tasting dinner at Bjornson Vineyard on Saturday, October 24, bringing his traveling pop-up series to the Willamette Valley for an evening centered on Oregon’s fall harvest.
The dinner will feature a 10-course tasting menu from Calmels paired with estate wines selected by Bjornson Vineyard. The menu will highlight ingredients and flavors of the Pacific Northwest in autumn, including matsutake mushrooms, quince, persimmons, pumpkin, wild game and other seasonal products.
Calmels, an Oregon native, spent more than a decade cooking in restaurants around the world before returning to the Pacific Northwest. His experience includes kitchens in Paris, Hong Kong and New York, including the three-Michelin-starred Ta Vie and Eleven Madison Park. Most recently, he served as Sous Chef at ōkta in McMinnville.
Since returning to Oregon, Calmels has developed a traveling series of intimate tasting-menu dinners hosted at wineries, farms, restaurants and other spaces throughout the region. The Bjornson dinner continues that series while bringing together Calmels’ seasonal cooking and wines grown and produced on the estate.
The dinner will take place Saturday, October 24 – 6pm at Bjornson Vineyard. Seating is limited and advance reservations are required.
