One-of-a-Kind Experiences Await at Broken Earth Winery

Swing Dance Lessons, Live Music, and an Exclusive Black Glass Tasting in Paso Robles

October 3, 2024 (Paso Robles, CA) – Ready to make your weekends unforgettable? Whether you’re in the mood to lace up your dancing shoes or kick back with a glass of wine while enjoying live music, Broken Earth Winery is ready to welcome you. With autumn programming featuring monthly swing dance lessons, live music every Friday, and a unique Black Glass Tasting experience every Saturday, one-of-a-kind events abound at Broken Earth Winery.

Black Glass Tastings – an immersive sensory adventure offering a fresh way to explore wine – are available every Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Broken Earth Tasting Lounge. Guests will sample a selection of Broken Earth’s wines with a twist: the wines are served in opaque black glasses that conceal their identity. Without the usual visual cues, senses are put to the test as our expert team guides you through this exciting challenge. Can you identify the subtle aromas and flavors of each wine without seeing its color? Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or simply love a good challenge, this tasting will leave your palate intrigued and your wine knowledge expanded.

On the third Thursday of every month, step onto the dance floor for an evening of fun with swing dance lessons. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, under the glow of twinkling lights in the Tasting Lounge, a professional instructor from First Step Ballroom will guide participants of all levels through the vibrant steps of swing dance. Come solo or with a partner—no prior dance experience is necessary! Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the door or online. Fuel your dancing feet with a glass of Broken Earth wine as you dance the night away and connect with fellow guests in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a total beginner, you’re welcome on the dance floor.

Every Friday night, Broken Earth Winery brings live music to Paso Robles with performances from local favorites. For just $5 per person, enjoy a night of music, wine, and community in the welcoming Tasting Lounge. As always, Broken Earth Strata Wine Club members enjoy free tickets for live music. Join today for priority access to the autumn lineup. October starts with the honky-tonk sounds of the Way Out West Band, followed by Neighborhood Katz’ signature mix of classic rock, Motown, R&B, pop, funk, and country. Next up is The Rockin B’s Band, blending country and blues with a rock edge, with Americana folk from Bremen Town to close out the month. In November, Ultra delivers top hits from the 80s and 90s, and the Rockin B’s Band and Neighborhood Katz return.
