Advanced Viticulture is a leader in integrated vineyard monitoring and winegrowing advising, founded by viticulturist Mark Greenspan, PhD. For the 2023 season, AV is launching an upgraded, automated system that monitors plant stress, soil moisture, and irrigation system operation continuously. Combining new technology with proven methods, this system uses FloraPulse microtensiometer sensors to measure continuous plant stress, Aquacheck probes to evaluate soil moisture, and pressure sensors for irrigation feedback, all conveniently integrated in a cloud-based digital platform.
We’ll be deploying and operating this system to power our own moisture monitoring services as well as supplying it to anyone looking for accurate and direct soil, plant, and system information.

Advanced Viticulture is a full-service vineyard management, vineyard development, vineyard technology and viticultural advising company, operating for over 17 years. Our company is expanding, and to accommodate the expansion, we’ve moved! Now located at 930 Shiloh Road, Building 46, we have integrated our business and technical offices with our equipment shop and yard. But that’s not all. Beginning in 2023, we will also have a new office in Paso Robles to serve our clients on the Central Coast!
