Nostalgic Holiday décor, festive cocktails, holiday music, and movies bring seasonal cheer
November 4, 2026 (Louisville, KY) — Celebrate the holidays in style at Copper & Kings’ Up on the Rooftop, a festive bar inspired by the comfort and nostalgia of Christmases past. Opening November 5 and running through December 31, this seasonal rooftop experience offers a spirited way to enjoy the season’s magic in Louisville.
The rooftop will be transformed with Christmas trees, Santas, and beloved holiday decorations, creating a vibrant, cheerful atmosphere. Holiday music and classic movies on the TVs will provide the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with friends, celebrating with coworkers, or enjoying a festive date night.
The holiday spirit extends to the cocktail menu, with playfully named creations including Resting Grinch Face, featuring Copper & Kings bourbon, Pommeau de Normandie, pistachio liqueur, almond and lemon with a pistachio rim; and Oh, My Christmas Tree!, combining Copper & Kings apple brandy, allspice dram, ginger, pear liqueur, lemon and clove demerara with a rosemary garnish.
With playful nods to cherished childhood decorations, ‘Up on the Rooftop’ encourages guests to settle in, bask in the nostalgia, and create new holiday memories above Butchertown.
The holiday bar will welcome walk-in guests, with no reservations required for general bar visits.
For those looking to make their evening extra special, rooftop igloos will be available by reservation on Fridays and Saturdays. Igloo reservations include a two-hour time limit and require a minimum spend of $200. We’ll share a reservation link once booking opens on the Copper & Kings website.
