November 2, 2026 (Lesbon, Portugal) — GrapeFlow, a cloud-based vineyard and winery management platform, is now available to boutique wineries producing up to 20,000 cases a year — the size where enterprise systems are too heavy and spreadsheets are no longer enough. It runs in the browser on desktop or phone and covers the work from the vineyard block to the bottle in a single tool.
In the vineyard, growers record sprays, fertilizer and cultural work by block, track ripening and phenology, see downy mildew, powdery mildew and botrytis risk calculated from local weather, and check vine vigor through satellite NDVI. Spray records feed the application log that EU rules and most sustainability schemes ask for; in the United States, GrapeFlow also keeps TTB-oriented records.
In the cellar, every tank and barrel is on one screen, alongside fermentation curves, lab analyses and tasting notes. Each lot keeps its composition by block and variety, so tracing a bottle back to the vineyard takes one search.
“Most boutique wineries still run on paper and spreadsheets, because the software out there is either expensive or built for large operations,” said Luís Patrão, who leads the product. “We wanted something a winemaker or grower can use every day, that already knows what the regulator asks for, at a price a boutique winery can afford.”
GrapeFlow also connects directly to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Winemakers can ask, in plain language, “which lots have no analysis yet?” or “when was block 3 last sprayed?” and get the answer from their own data. A REST API is included for connecting other software.
Data is hosted in the European Union. GrapeFlow does not issue invoices or replace accounting software.
