October 14, 2026 (Walla Walla, WA) — Pursued by Bear, the Walla Walla Winery founded in 2005 by actor and Yakima native Kyle MacLachlan, has appointed Andy Rothbaum National Sales Manager.
Rothbaum brings more than 25 years of wine industry experience to the position. His career includes leadership roles with Jackson Family Wines and Boisset Family Estates, where he managed multi-state distributor networks and helped build and launch wine brands. He later spent a decade as Vice President of Portfolio Management at Winebow, overseeing portfolio strategy, pricing, programming, and brand development.
In 2024, Rothbaum founded Red Tree Beverage Solutions, a Petaluma, Calif.-based consulting firm that helps boutique, family-owned wineries strengthen distributor relationships and grow sales. Rothbaum will remain based in Petaluma, working closely with MacLachlan to oversee Pursued by Bear’s wholesale strategy, manage distributor relationships and support sales efforts across the country. “Andy’s experience and perspective will be invaluable to Pursued by Bear,” said MacLachlan. “He understands the complexities of wine distribution and knows that strong partnerships are at the heart of a successful wine business. I look forward to working with him as we continue to grow the winery thoughtfully and strategically.”
