2024 Vintage Yielded Exceptional Fruit Across All Estate Vineyards
October 7, 2026 (Dayton, OR) — Sokol Blosser Winery, one of Oregon’s pioneering family-owned wineries, is releasing an unprecedented seven new 2024 single-block Pinot Noirs this month, in addition to the all-new Osprey Cuvée.

The release offers a rare opportunity to explore the distinct character of individual vineyard blocks across the winery’s two vineyards in Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton AVAs.
“The 2024 vintage was near-perfect,” says Winemaker Robin Howell. “Each block of our vineyard has its own personality, and the 2024 vintage gave us an exciting opportunity to capture those differences in the bottle. Each wine showcases how variations in exposure, elevation, soil and site shape each expression of Pinot Noir. We are super excited for people to taste these wines.”
Single-block wines are crafted with fruit from small plots within larger vineyards. Each plot is defined by a number of factors, including soil type, aspect to the sun, wind exposure, elevation, even temperature differences. All of these influences lead to subtle differences in aromas, flavors and textures of the wines.
In addition to the single-block Pinot Noirs, Sokol Blosser also is releasing its first Osprey Cuvée, conceived and crafted entirely by winemaker Robin Howell. The wine features fruit from select single blocks across the winery’s Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton vineyards.
“We’ve been making single-block wines since my parents started the winery in the early 1970s,” adds Sokol Blosser CEO Alex Sokol Blosser. “Tasting single-block wines allows people to get to know our wines in a new way. Plus, our team loves sharing the stories behind each single block, explaining what sets them apart. Guests in our tasting room love learning about single block wines.”
The New 2024 Single-Block Estate Pinot Noirs are:
- Goosepen Block
- Big Tree Block
- Peach Tree Block
- Watershed Block
- Twelve Row Block
- Blackberry Block
- Orchard Block
- Plus: new Osprey Cuvée – crafted from fruit across select blocks in Sokol Blosser’s Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton vineyards
The 2024 single-block wines and Osprey Cuvée are now available in the tasting room and online. Suggested retail prices range from $48 to $87 per bottle.
