September 30, 2026 (Healdsburg, CA) — Flambeaux Wine has named Sonoma County native Miranda Bruehl as Tasting Room Manager, where she will lead the family-owned winery’s new tasting room in downtown Healdsburg, set to open later this fall.

Bruehl brings 11 years of experience in the Sonoma County wine industry, with a background spanning tasting room and wine club management, direct-to-consumer operations, viticulture, hospitality and event planning. Most recently, she served as an Estate Host at Quivira Vineyards, where her work spanned hospitality, tasting room operations and the winery’s viticulture and sustainability programs. With a particular interest in regenerative agriculture, she helped establish Quivira’s vermiculture program alongside her work in the tasting room and with guests.

Bruehl has also been part of the team behind T.O.W.N. (Traveling Off-Season for Wine Night), a wine and dining series created in partnership with Flambeaux Wine, Stay Healdsburg and The Harris Gallery Art & Wine to highlight Sonoma County during the region’s traditionally quieter months. Now entering her third season, she has helped plan, budget, coordinate and bring the series’ experiences to life, including Healdsburg’s first public drone show and a wine dinner held inside a cave in the Russian River Valley.

“We’re building something in downtown Healdsburg that means a great deal to us,” says Art Murray, President and Owner of Flambeaux Wine. “We needed someone who would care about it as much as we do. Miranda is that person. She knows wine inside and out, and she genuinely loves taking care of people. She understands that great hospitality is about how guests feel long after they leave. That’s always been at the heart of Flambeaux, and it’s exactly what she’ll bring to this new project.”

Bruehl spent five years at Thomas George Estates in Healdsburg, where she worked across hospitality, wine club and direct-to-consumer operations before stepping into the role of Tasting Room Manager. During her tenure, she helped shape the guest experience across the winery, ultimately leading a tasting room team that achieved a 97.54% positive guest review rate.

Her experience also includes work at MacRostie Vineyards and Winery in Healdsburg and with Advanced Viticulture, where she supported sustainable viticulture practices, water conservation strategies, soil testing and conservation, and pre-harvest testing services alongside Mark Greenspan.

“I knew pretty quickly that Flambeaux was something special,” said Bruehl. “From the moment I started working with the team, there was a real sense of excitement around building something, developing it and growing together. I love making wine education feel comfortable and approachable, and that comes naturally here. Now I get to bring everything I’ve learned to the tasting room and help build the experience from the ground up — creating a place that feels unmistakably Flambeaux, where guests can feel connected and taken care of, and where we can give them an experience that goes beyond what they expected.”

Designed to feel more like a living room than a traditional tasting bar, Flambeaux’s new downtown tasting room will offer relaxed, seated tastings for approximately 10 guests indoors and 27 on the patio. The space will welcome both dogs and children and remain open into the evening. The new location will complement Flambeaux’s agricultural experiences in Dry Creek Valley.

About Flambeaux Wine
The Murray family founded Flambeaux in Healdsburg, California, bringing their New Orleans roots west. The winery takes its name from the torchbearers who light the way through Mardi Gras parades. Art Murray leads the winery alongside his parents, Steve and Pattie Murray, and daughters Alys, Elizabeth, Nia and Lila Murray.

Winemaker Ryan Prichard — whose background includes Three Sticks, Williams Selyem, Copain Custom Crush and Medlock Ames — follows the family’s long-held philosophy of letting the grapes grow naturally into the best of themselves, crafting small-lot wines with complexity without being overbearing.
