The Gold Star winners of Star Wine List of the Year Netherlands 2026 were announced in Rotterdam this week, with two awards each for Flore (Amsterdam), Zarzo (Eindhoven) and Restaurant Azurite (Delft). This is the full list of winners.
September 23, 2026 (Stockholm, Sweden) — The Star Wine List of the Year tour began in earnest this week, with the first stop on a global tour that is set to cover three continents by June 2027. The winners in the Dutch leg of this global wine list competition were revealed at Rotterdam’s Cafe Courage (formerly known as Cafe Putaine).
“This was a very broad field with a fantastic bounty of entries,” commented judge, Master of Wine Stephen Wong, who was joined on the jury panel by Master Sommelier Jonathan Gouveia and ASI Best Sommelier of the Americas 2015 Paz Levinson.
“The top lists executed a clear vision and combined producer curation with bottle age; balanced diversity and awareness of modern tastes against recognition of the classics. A great set of lists which made the judges’ jobs all the more exciting.”
Winners were announced in 10 ‘international’ categories (all of whom now go on to compete in the Star Wine List of the Year Global Final at the close of the season, next summer) with two ‘local’ awards for the Best California Wine List and Best Spanish Wine Lists. The results were announced by Star Wine List’s Project and Ambassador Manager Liora Levi.
