A Temperance Hill Vineyard Chardonnay and a Carter Vineyard Pinot Noir earn perfect scores, showcasing the AVA’s ability to produce world-class fruit across two signature varietals
September 16, 2026 (Eola-Amity Hills, OR) — Continuing its streak of highly rated wines by nationally acclaimed critics, the Eola-Amity Hills AVA has reached six 100-point wines, with Morgen Long’s 2024 Temperance Hill Vineyard Chardonnay and Kelley Fox Wines’ 2024 Carter Vineyard Pinot Noir earning perfect scores from Audrey Frick of Jeb Dunnuck.
The milestone means the Eola-Amity Hills is now home to 6 of Oregon’s eight 100-point wines, further recognizing and reinforcing the region’s exceptional land, climate, and producers on a global scale. Together, these accolades reflect the Eola-Amity Hills’ ability to grow fruit of remarkable character and distinction, reinforcing the AVA’s position among Oregon’s most acclaimed winegrowing regions.
This rating is Morgen Long’s second 100-point wine given by Jeb Dunnuck, with its first being their 2021 Morgen Long X Omni Vineyards Chardonnay – also one of the six Eola-Amity Hills 100-point wines.

The Eola-Amity Hills AVA has distinguished itself as a premier region for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its growing recognition has identified the region as a destination for world-class wines and tasting experiences.
To provide additional resources to its members and visitors, the Eola-Amity Hills Winegrowers Association has updated its digital map and has commissioned and launched a high-resolution printable map of the region. The digital map includes wineries, tasting rooms, vineyards, lodging and food, and it filters tasting experiences by accessibility, pet and family friendly, appointments only, EV charging and more. Visitors and locals to the region are encouraged to utilize the map as a resource when planning their visit. The newly designed high-resolution printable AVA map features updated topographic details, established vineyards and tasting rooms, and wineries with tasting rooms, creating an in-depth outline of the region. It also is available as a fine-art print, mounted print or framed piece.
