Event raises vital funds for Napa Valley Grapegrowers and Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation
August 26, 2026 (Napa, CA) — The Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) has announced that 2026 Harvest STOMP has raised $2.3 million to support the organization’s leadership in education, advocacy, and environmental stewardship. Of that, over $900k will directly benefit the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, the beneficiary of this year’s Fund-a-Need.
Held August 22nd at Opus One Winery in Oakville, Napa Valley, over 500 guests enjoyed a lively reception featuring member wines from next-generation growers to iconic Napa brands, along with bites provided by Angèle, Brix Napa Valley, Charlie’s St. Helena, Stateline Road Smokehouse, Violetto, V. Sattui Winery Mercato, John Anthony Vineyards, and more. A family-style, farm-to-table dinner prepared by Executive Chef Nash Cognetti and team at Brindare Napa Valley followed, and the evening culminated with an exciting live auction and dancing under the stars to the Walton Stout Orchestra.
Event Chair, Winemaker and past NVG President Michael Silacci led the evening’s program, sharing personal stories and his vision for the future of Napa Valley.
The evening’s live auction featured several top lots, including Above the Vines, a helicopter tour of Napa with Chris Morisoli; Inside Tignanello, a private Antinori legacy experience; and a 26-year vertical of Opus One magnums introduced by a graceful performance by acclaimed ballerina Ashlee Rose Montague.
A lively fund-a-need followed, raising over $900 thousand to benefit the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, the region’s only organization exclusively dedicated to advancing farmworkers and their families through education and professional development. This work strengthens long-term opportunity and stability, creating lasting impact across Napa Valley.

The 20th Anniversary Harvest STOMP will take place on August 28th, 2027.
